NOTE:  Thomas and Mary are parents of five including their youngest, my paternal grandmother,  Frances Maurice Obear. Thomas is son of William Franklin Obear and Eliza Underwood Henry. Eliza's  ancestors stretch back through a family of Flournoys to Huguenots fleeing France for Switzerland in the mid and late 1500's. Thomas had six brothers and one sister including William and Norton
