NOTE: Sam and Ann had nearly 200 known descendants, several still living in Canada including their 3rd great granddaughters, sisters Denise and Selena Lefebvre with whom I exchanged several emails. He and Ann are parents of three who survived to be adults, including Samuel Henry who with newly-wed Mahala Cruttenden immigrated under duress from Hailsham to Stark County, Ohio where they established a large family of Sinnocks near Massilion. The only known surviving descendants are Linda Sue Sinnock McKnight and her children. Sam is one of seven children of James Sinnock and Sarah Marshall, all born in Hailsham including brothers James and Henry; grandson of Thomas Sennock (sic) and Elizabeth Looker from Eastbourne, East Sussex |
