NOTE:  Sally, 2^nd great grandfather of my father-in-law Kenny Carter, was a frontierswoman who entered the "never ending forest" across the Ohio River in Indiana in about 1820. With her 2^nd husband, David White, she settled along the White River in Leesville, IN where in 1824 they built a boarding house with a covered carriage entry just like Caesar's Palace in Rome or Las Vegas. The boarding house is now restored at nearby Spring Mill State Park.
